HTI Consulting differs from other hotel consultants in Africa, as we strive to give our clients an exceptional consulting experience. From the first point of communication to the final delivery of our services, our consultants will make sure that our clients feel involved and informed throughout the entire process.
Our team of consultants collectively has over 45 years of experience in the industry, with both the CEO and Vice President having been involved in the sector in Africa for more than 15 years each. In addition, our hotel consultants are experienced in diverse sectors, including revenue management, operations, operator selection, marketing, feasibility studies, transaction services, brokerage, tourism development strategies, financial modelling, and more. Most of our consultants have worked in the hotel sector around the globe, and therefore bring international knowledge and experience to local scenarios.
Our hotel consultants focus exclusively on Africa and the Middle East regarding existing, developing, or new projects. Their experience of the continent is vast, as they have completed 400 projects over the past 16 years in 43 countries. The database of information that has been developed by our hotel consultants is therefore extensive and provides a competitive advantage when deciphering the trends and nuances that permeate the complex African hospitality sector.
Furthermore, we are able to work seamlessly in francophone, anglophone and lusophone countries in Africa, as our hotel consultants are fluent in diverse languages, including French, Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Between 2016 and 2018, our hotel consultants travelled to countries such as Angola, Benin, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, the Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Tanzania, and Uganda.
In order to be an HTI Hotel Consultant, there is a requirement for skills and experience in hotel operations, consulting, financial modelling, economics, research, development, and marketing. Our candidates go through an extensive interview and screening process, in order to ensure that decisions are made which will result in the best outcomes for developers, owners, operators, and investors.
